Whiskey Myers got their brand new album Early Morning Shakes out Feb 4. It´s a southern rock classic.

The album got sweet shades of Led Zeppelin, Blackberry Smoke, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Black Oak Arkansas, Allman Brothers Band and Black Crowes – and they cover a David Allen Coe-song.

This hard working outlaw-countryband is from Tyler, Texas and it´s their third full-lenght LP. I´m pretty sure the record will take them to the moon and back, it´s pretty amazingly awesome.

Nu är den äntligen här. Wolfmothers senaste. Andrew Stockdale levererar en svinigt skön 70-tals Zeppelinrock utan att ursäkta sig. Låtarna smakar utsvängda jeans och rostiga folkabubblor. Laddat med stenhårda gittarer och utomjordiska basgångar. Man blir inte besviken på något sätt. Plattan Cosmic Egg lever definitivt upp till förväntningarna. Att den kommer att hamna på de flesta Best of 2009 behöver man inte fundera på länge. Den kommer att hamna på min lista hur enkelt som helst. Get it while it’s hot.
