The magical sisters of First Aid Kit, a real swedish wonder, are releasing their fourth full-lenght album. June 10th ”Stay Gold” will hit the streets. But as of today, you can hear the brand new single ”My Silver Lining” from the forthcoming ”Stay Gold”, available on Spotify for all to hear and enjoy.

This month of March, Merge Records decided tog make a 20th anniversary reissue of Bloomed, the 1994 debut album from Richard Buckner. The album will include 11 bonus tracks of radio sessions and live performances. Golden stuff.
Richard Buckner, described as ”equal parts Bay Area bohemian and dust bowl traditionalist” is an alt-country wanderer with heartache in every tune. In a comment to the re-issue Mr Buckner says: ”Nothing’s changed. I’m still dodging the sky and busking to strangers.”

Yesterday nite we dragged our souls down to Pustervik and the magical world of Woody West. The almighty double header of Israel Nash and Midlake was up for grabs.
750 people (sold out) joined in for a great show, one to remember. Mr Nash started out with his buddy Eric Swanson on pedal steel. The bearded voice of the Texas man reflects greatness of Neil Young and John Fogerty and the setting was beautiful. Bone-chillin stuff, distinct, heartwarming and very present.
Moments later Midlake turned their psychorock-volume up. Singer Eric Pulido have turned out a perfect front man for the gang of fuzzy vividness. The audience played a great part and the love from the band to the city of Gothenburg is for real. The flute orchestra marched on and yes, Roscoe is still the perfect song.
Israel Nash came upon stage for a wonderful Fearless together with the band, Friday complete. Check out Israel’s song Rexanimarum from his 2013-album ’Israel Nash’s Rain Plans’, out on Loose Records – and have a great weekend.
Shakey Graves is one of the most badass Austin songwriters and musicians around. Kentuckyseven absolutely adore the man also known as Alejandro Rose-Garcia – and his bootdrummin-hobostyle-moonshining excellence.

Whiskey Myers got their brand new album Early Morning Shakes out Feb 4. It´s a southern rock classic.
The album got sweet shades of Led Zeppelin, Blackberry Smoke, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Black Oak Arkansas, Allman Brothers Band and Black Crowes – and they cover a David Allen Coe-song.
This hard working outlaw-countryband is from Tyler, Texas and it´s their third full-lenght LP. I´m pretty sure the record will take them to the moon and back, it´s pretty amazingly awesome.
